BUILDING FAMILIES FOR NATIONAL ADOPTION MONTH AND THE HOLIDAY SEASON!

In 2007, our founders, Becky and Kipp Fawcett, asked a question that no one was asking and started a conversation that really mattered: What happens when people can't afford adoption? What began as a question has become a thriving, national 501(c)(3) grant program. Now in its 11th year, Helpusadopt.org remains the only adoption grant program in the country that embodies all of the following criteria:

•awards large life-changing and problem-solving grants up to $15,000 that help families complete their adoptions
•supports all types of families (married couples, single parent and LGBT families)
•supports all types of adoptions (domestic, international, foster care)
•supports all types of religions without requiring a statement of faith
•does not charge applicants to apply

Over the years, generous donors like you have helped hundreds of families and allowed Helpusadopt.org to award 325 adoption grants totaling over $2.9 million.

This year, Helpusadopt.org has received a record number of grant applications with requests totaling over $13.5 million. These qualified applications have come from couples and individuals, some of whom have experienced heartbreaking failed adoption that drained their savings; some of whom are trying to rebuild their lives after losing everything in the recent natural disasters that have struck our country; some of whom are simply cannot afford to complete their adoption despite taking on second (and sometimes, third) jobs. These people aren't asking for extravagances. They are simply asking for the opportunity to provide a child with a loving, permanent home.

Helpusadopt.org is a national 501(c)(3) financial grant program that helps couples/individuals (regardless of race, religion, gender, ethnicity, marital status or sexual orientation) with the cost of their adoptions by awarding grants up to $15,000. We support domestic, international and foster care adoptions and does not charge our applicants to apply. Since 2007, we have awarded 274 adoption grants totaling over $2.4 million.
