Hello friends - It's Marc Sherman. Like many of you I am fortunate to have grown up in a loving family and now I am lucky enough to have a beautiful family of my own. I recently joined the Helpusadopt.org Faces of Adoption event committee to raise funds and increase awareness of Helpusadopt.org’s financial grant program. I joined this committee after I learned that 100 million vulnerable children globally are without homes and the average adoption cost to adopt a child is $40,000 which is out of reach for many families.
Helpusadopt.org’s mission is to alleviate the financial constraints adoption can present. In ten years Helpusadopt.org has helped build 230 families and awarded over $2 million in adoption grants.
I hope you will consider supporting a cause that is important not only to me, but to the children worthy of a safe and loving home, and the individuals waiting to build their families through adoption. Thank you for taking the time to read my note and for your friendship.

For the last ten years, we have helped place children in permanent homes so they can grow up knowing the support and love of a family; so that they can receive the life-saving medical treatments they require; so that they can enjoy just being a carefree child. But for every family we help, there are 10 more we have to turn away. We can't help but think about the children and families we are not able to help; they are no less deserving.

We support domestic, international and foster care adoptions and does not charge our applicants to apply. Since 2007, we have awarded 230 adoption grants totaling over $2 million.
